About
I'm Todd Adams. I help local businesses figure out where AI actually fits — and then I help them build it.
For the past 25 years I've been designing, shipping, and running software at scale — from hosting infrastructure and SaaS platforms to AI-powered products. I've led engineering teams, run SaaS business units with full P&L, and shipped production AI systems before most of the consultants you'll meet in 2026 had touched a model.
Why “Glacier AI Works”
I live and work in the Flathead Valley. Glacier AI Works is the local arm of my consulting practice — built for the businesses I see every day around Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Bigfork. Clinics, contractors, dealers, shops, retailers, hospitality operators. Real businesses doing real revenue, run by people who don't have an in-house IT department to vet AI vendors.
I also run a second brand under the same company — NT0 / Networkzero — serving larger $10–50M aftermarket and vertical SaaS operators who want a fuller, more integrated fractional CTO engagement. Same operator, different size of customer. Two brands so each can be scoped and priced for the business it actually serves. Glacier exists because the local-business problem is real and the economics for a Flathead Valley shop owner shouldn't require a Fortune 500 budget.
Why AI, Why Now
I've been building software for two and a half decades, and I've never seen a shift like what's happening with AI. It's not hype — it's a genuine capability unlock. Things that used to take a full team months we now ship in a few weeks.
I've been hands-on with agentic AI since 2022, around the time GPT-3.5 came out. I built when context windows were 4K tokens, when nothing worked reliably, when you had to engineer around hallucinations and tool-call brittleness. That experience is what lets me tell you which 2026 vendor pitch is durable and which is a flash in the pan. Knowing how to prompt a chatbot is table stakes. Knowing how to wire it into the way your business actually runs — that takes real engineering experience.
How We Engage
Simple. You tell us what's eating your team's time. We tell you what's realistic, what it'll cost, and how long. If it makes sense, we build it. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too.
We don't do proposals that take three weeks. We don't do death-by-committee. We use fixed-fee packages for clarity (Assessment, Sprint, Build) and a monthly Fractional AI Lead engagement when you want a senior technologist on call. No retainer lock-in. We work best with owners and operators who value directness.

Where I've Built
Before going independent, I spent the bulk of my career in engineering and business leadership — most recently as Vertical President at Fullsteam, where I directed a multi-product SaaS portfolio with full P&L responsibility. Before that, President of a SaaS business unit and VP of Engineering & Product Management. I've led platform unification across acquired products, integrated applied AI into production workflows, and built the delivery practices that let teams ship reliably at scale.
I also build and operate my own production SaaS portfolio through Lamplight Technology — including tools for job seekers, accounting teams, camp management, and auto repair shops. We're AI-first across the board: AI in the products, AI in how we build them.
That background is what makes Glacier different. We don't just write code — we know how products, platforms, and businesses actually work. And we know how to ship.
Based in the Flathead Valley
We run from Columbia Falls, Montana. We'll happily drive to your shop in Kalispell, Whitefish, Bigfork, or anywhere in the valley for kickoffs and working sessions. Most ongoing collaboration happens over video and shared docs — that's how mid-size businesses should be working with senior tech help in 2026 anyway.
How We Sell
We don't sell forever retainers. We sell graduation. Every engagement is structured to compress as your team gets fluent. The goal state is that you're calling us for the next thing — not because you're stuck on the last one.
Most consultants won't say that out loud because they need the lock-in to feed their pipeline. We don't, because we have a track record that produces new clients without that crutch.
